Asbestos-free Fiber Cement Board for Interior and Exterior Wall Systems

Autoclaved, stable and dense cement-based panels for interior wall substrates and exterior wall enclosures in offices, hotels, public buildings, residential projects and modular construction.
Select Interior or Exterior Wall Board
Category Overview
Massif Fiber Cement Board is made from a combination of inorganic and organic materials including high-purity quartz sand, mica, perlite and plant fibers. It is formed with program-controlled equipment and the Hatschek process, then autoclaved at high temperature and specially treated. The board is 100% asbestos-free and combines A1 non-combustibility with impact resistance, moisture resistance, sound insulation, thermal insulation and practical on-site processing.
Product Selection Guide
Expert guidance for selecting interior wall board and exterior wall board systems. Interior selection considers thickness, stud spacing, wall height, impact resistance, acoustic performance, and wet-area conditions. Exterior wall selection requires evaluation of climate zone, wind loads, freeze-thaw exposure, waterproofing, and insulation. Ideal for hotels, offices, and public buildings—ensure proper coordination of openings, fixtures, and equipment loads. Load-bearing floor applications require dedicated floor slab products selected separately.

Manufacturing and Quality Control

Massif founded in 2013, our company specializes in the research, development, manufacturing, and testing of magnesium sulfate boards, focusing on the formulation, molding, curing, cutting, appearance, and packaging of these boards. Batch records can be generated for raw material batches, production formulas, dimensions and thicknesses, board surface edges, and sampling inspection results according to order requirements, ensuring consistency between mass-produced products and confirmed samples.

Frequently Asked Questions

These answers address product classification, load-bearing limits, drawing-based selection, samples, documents and customization.
  • Does Massif Fiber Cement Board contain asbestos?
Massif Fiber Cement Board is positioned as 100% asbestos-free. Buyers may request asbestos-free test documentation or a material declaration for the relevant model.
  • Can interior and exterior wall boards be interchanged?
Not by name alone. Exterior use adds climate, freeze-thaw, wind-load, waterproofing, joint and weathering requirements, so the complete system and project conditions must be reviewed.
  • What sizes and thicknesses are available?
Current information lists a 2440 × 1220 mm format with 3–30 mm thicknesses. Stock, density class, edge treatment and MOQ are confirmed by model.
  • Can it be used in moisture-prone areas?
The board has controlled wet expansion, but moisture-prone areas still require appropriate waterproofing, joints, ventilation and finishes. Provide the actual vapor and splash-water conditions before selection.
  • Can it be directly exposed on an exterior wall?
Direct exposure depends on the exact model, surface treatment, climate and supporting weathering evidence. Without that evidence, the board should be used as a substrate or lining within a properly waterproofed and finished exterior system.
  • What information is needed for quotation?
Provide interior or exterior use, size and thickness, quantity, framing spacing, wall height, climate zone, finish, target standards, packing, destination port and required date.
